Defender of the rights of LGBTI attacked at the Colombian congress, during a forum on equal marriage.

At the forum called by the president of the Human Rights Commission at the Senate, Edgar Espíndola, on the implications of equal marriage, Daniel Antonio Sastoque demanded not to open a space for equitable debate. Sastoque was attacked by unknown persons and the police attempted to force him to abandon the room. Additionally he was harassed by bodyguards of non identified public officials.
